First appeared in 1991 in PARMANU (GENL-0261). Created by Manoj Gupta. The issue was written by Tarun Kumar Wahi. This comic featured Parmanu and one of his most dreaded foes Nagmani and long time ally Baba Gorakhnath.

Parmanu was born from Vinay’s vow for justice. As a boy, he witnessed criminals murder his classmate and later discovered that the killer was the police chief himself. When Vinay’s life came under threat, his uncle Prof. K.K. Verma saved him and gave him a powerful scientific suit. Wearing it, Vinay became Wonderman Parmanu, a hero who used atomic power to fight evil and avenge the innocent.
